Dr. Verdieu, PhD, is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with over 21 years of clinical experience, delivering comprehensive care to a diverse adult patient population. Since 2005, she has practiced at Cambridge Health Alliance, managing a panel of more than 800 patients within a multidisciplinary, team-based Patient-Centered Medical Home model.
From 2019 to 2025, she served as Associate Medical Director, overseeing the clinical and operational management of a primary care practice that serves more than 10,000 patients. In this role, she led a team of physicians and nurse practitioners, ensuring access to high-quality care while maintaining excellent performance in clinical outcomes, operations, and financial stewardship. She also played a key role in teaching and mentoring medical students, residents, and advanced practice providers. Dr. Verdieu's leadership experience includes serving as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse Co-lead and contributing to organizational governance through the Medical Executive Committee, where she represented provider perspectives and enhanced communication across departments.
Driven by a commitment to improving healthcare delivery, Dr. Verdieu founded Somaform Health with a vision to restore the patient-provider relationship as it was always meant to be, personal, thoughtful, and centered on the individual. Her goal is to create a healthcare environment where patients feel valued and understood, fostering open communication and trust. Through Somaform Health, she aims to bridge the gap between patients and providers, ensuring that every individual receives personalized care that addresses their unique needs and concerns.
In addition to her clinical work, Dr. Verdieu is deeply committed to education and community health. She has served as nursing faculty and continues to lead community-based health initiatives, including founding and directing a health ministry focused on care coordination, education, and outreach.
Dr. Verdieu lives locally in Tewksbury with her husband, their three children, and their cat, OC (also known as the 'orange cat'). Outside of medicine, she enjoys reading, traveling, and serving her community through her church. Her approach to healthcare emphasizes collaboration, patient-centered decision-making, and addressing both medical and social factors that impact health.
